We are delighted to have you join our literary community! There are no eligibility requirements to belong to the NSWA. Whether you’re an experienced or beginning writer, and whether you live on or off the North Shore, you are welcome.

Membership for 2025-26 (September 1, 2025, through August 31, 2026) is $40.00 for adults. Youth membership (writers 25 and under) is $5.00 and includes one free entry in NSWA’s annual writing contest. This is a great deal to be part of a wonderful writing community with access to guest speakers, workshops, and exciting new initiatives.
