In January Lisa Bagshaw will host Caroline Adderson, the author of five novels, three collections of short stories, and more than twenty books for children. Nominations for her work include: the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, the Commonwealth Writers’ Prizes, the Governor General’s Literary Award, the Rogers’ Trust Fiction Prize, and the Giller Prize longlist. Winner of three BC Book Prizes, three CBC Literary Awards, and the Marian Engel Award for mid-career achievement, she lives in Vancouver. Her most recent book is a collection of short stories, A Way to Be Happy, long-listed for the 2024 Giller Prize.
